Becoming an InsureZone Direct agent is easy. However, we’re fairly selective when reviewing applicants. After submitting an application, our Agency Development Specialist will run a complete background, license, and production/experience check. We go to great lengths to ensure that each submission is a good fit for the program and the carriers we represent.
WHAT DO I NEED TO JOIN?
- Agency License Number, for all states where you want to do business with InsureZone Direct
- List of all agency W2 and 1099 employees and producers
- Agency Federal Tax ID and/or SSN of owner
- Current E&O Insurance from an AM Best A-Rated carrier with a minimum limit of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate. Binders and certificates of insurance will be accepted for temporary proof only. We require a copy of the full policy declarations page for the annual term of the policy. We currently do not accept E&O from the following carriers due to coverage limitations: Everest, Mercer or National Casualty Co. No exceptions.
- Business plan and sales projections for the next 5 years
- Carrier Production/Experience reports for your top five carriers for the last three years showing premium written and losses
APPLICATION REVIEW
The application review process generally takes 5-7 working days. Keep in mind that not all agencies will be accepted into the program. If qualified, you will be contacted by one of our Agency Development Specialists.
